Kevin, Christin, Jude & Wren Pounds  from Georgia to New Jersey to Vermont

In June 2004, Kevin and Christin moved their lives from the Atlanta area to New Brunswick, NJ,  to start the Point Church.  Since launching in January of 2005, The Point’s vision has been to plant other churches in strategic Northeastern cities.  During his tenure as Lead Pastor, Kevin learned a great deal about starting churches in urban college towns that reach people from a diversity of ages and backgrounds.  He also stumbled into nonprofit work and helped start a local grassroots nonprofit called Awareness to Action which focused on volunteer mobilization.  Even more importantly, Kevin and Christin have learned a great deal about raising a family-especially with the arrival of their son Jude in June of 2009, and daughter Wren in May of 2011.

Now God has led them to get on the roller coaster of church planting for another ride in Burlington.  Kevin now splits his time between helping the Serve Burlington nonprofit and launching a new church which equips people to start communities that live out the message and mission of Jesus in neighborhoods around Burlington.
