I’m so excited to announce that David Dabney will be arriving in Burlington from New Jersey this Saturday evening. David is my close friend, a spiritual “little” brother, and an extremely gifted artist and musician.
God has been so faithful to pave the way for him to join our team as our Music & Arts Director. Some of his responsibilities will include…
- Leading praise music in our weekly Home Fellowship meetings.
- Mentoring musicians and artists to lead in times of praise as we launch new Home Fellowships.
- Leading praise music in monthly or bimonthly worship gatherings.
- Engaging Burlington’s musicians and artists.
- Writing music to inspire and challenge the church and culture.
After serving alongside David at the Point Community Church in NJ, I’m confident God will do amazing things in and through his new ministry here. Please pray that God would direct Him during this transition, that Burlington would quickly become home, and Burlington City Church a true spiritual family for David.
